Trevi Fountain in Rome: Toss a coin and make a wish to return to the Eternal City

Even after seeing countless pictures, seeing the Trevi Fountain in person left me speechless with its grandeur and exquisiteness. The massive statue of Poseidon radiated power, and the Baroque architecture shone white in the sunlight. The crowds were even larger than expected, so we finally squeezed to the edge of the fountain. With our backs to the fountain, we tossed a coin over our left shoulder with our right hand. It's said that this will ensure a return to Rome. Watching the countless coins glittering in the fountain, bearing wishes from around the world, amidst the gurgling water and the laughter of the people, I made a wish of my own.
