Two Days in Rome, Italy – Ancient Wonders and Endless Pizza

#hellohalloween

Rome is one of those cities that overwhelms you in the best possible way. We spent two full days exploring on foot — over 20,000 steps each day — and still felt like we’d only scratched the surface. Everywhere you turn, there’s another layer of history, another jaw-dropping view, another excuse for gelato.

We started at the Pantheon, marvelling at how perfectly preserved it is after all these centuries. From there, we wandered through the Roman Forum and stood in awe at the Colosseum, imagining what it must have been like in its prime. We walked along Circo Massimo, tossed coins into the Trevi Fountain, and stopped for pizza more times than we probably should admit — because when in Rome, that’s exactly what you do.

It’s a city best experienced on foot — chaotic, beautiful, and endlessly fascinating. Two days, countless steps, and memories that will last forever.

I do recommend taking a guided tour if the opportunity arises - you'll learn so much!
