While the whole internet is boiling with pure passion for Guizhou's "Village Super," Rongjiang, this low-key small city, has quietly become a new favorite among young backpackers. Here, there’s not only grassroots celebrations on the green field but also hidden mountain and water wonders and vibrant local life. You can enjoy three days and two nights for just 300 yuan per person!
Transportation: 🍒 Low-cost access to the heart of the heat wave
Train preferred: Take the high-speed train from Guiyang Station directly to Rongjiang Station (about 1 hour, second-class seat 80 yuan), saving half the time compared to regular trains! From the station, take a 2-yuan bus directly to the county or stadium.
Village Super shuttle: On match days, free shuttle buses run between the county and the stadium, saving money and hassle.
Accommodation: Authentic experiences come from local vibes
In the county, Rongjiang Baiheng Elegant Hotel (Village Super Football Stadium branch) is one of many options. We chose this hotel because it’s less than a 10-minute walk to the Village Super and you can see the Village Super square right from the room. It’s next to the bus station, and the environment is quite nice.
