This is Japan's first museum dedicated to photography, showcasing the work of world-renowned photographer Ken Domon. The museum houses approximately 70,000 negative prints, and exhibits rotate in special exhibitions, focusing on his signature works such as "Pilgrimage to Ancient Temples," "Hiroshima," "Bunraku," and "Children of Chikuho." The building, designed by Yoshio Taniguchi, offers a panoramic view of Mount Chokai and the pond beyond, earning it high praise from architecture enthusiasts as the "perfect stage for photography."
