Hazrat Khizr Mosque is a historical monument in Samarkand, built in the mid-19th century ⏳👑 and related to the legendary Muslim saint Khizr. The building was built on the site of an ancient mosque. The monument is located on a hill opposite the Shah-i-Zinda complex. In 2018, the mausoleum of Islam Karimov, the first president of the Uzbek Republic, was opened on the territory of the mosque, and many people came to visit.
There is a charming veranda on the left side of the mosque arch. The veranda has five wooden columns and a carved ceiling, decorated with colorful patterns and delicate plaster carvings. The balcony leads to the Khanka, which is covered with a high dome with eight ribs and a lantern. The exterior of the dome is decorated with tiles‼ ️The gate and minaret are decorated with carved bricks, and the dome of the gate has arched windows. It is very suitable to stay for a while to appreciate its beauty📷🇺🇿🌟
