In the Xisha Islands, encounter China's most stunning blue💙 This is the country's last untouched marine paradise, with glass-clear waters, white sandbars, coral reefs... every frame is as beautiful as wallpaper! Sharing my 5-day, 4-night island-hopping itinerary to unlock the purest island charm of the South China Sea~
🌊 Island-Hopping Itinerary
Day1: Gather at Sanya Phoenix Island Pier → Depart on the Dream of the South China Sea cruise ship → Sunset viewing onboard
Day2:
📍 Quanfu Island: Powder-soft beaches that take your breath away! Walk barefoot on the fine white sand with crystal-clear water (basic restrooms available on the island, don't forget sunscreen)
📍 Yinyu Island: The legendary seven-colored waters live up to their name, snorkeling reveals abundant coral and tropical fish (bring your own snorkeling mask)
Day3:
📍 Jinqing Island: The century-old island caretaker's hut is full of stories, a hidden gem for photography
📍 Huaguang Reef: The legendary shipwreck site, a diver's paradise (deep diving requires prior permit application)
Day4:
📍 Lingyang Reef: Stunning crescent-shaped sandbars appear at low tide
📍 Onboard fishing: Professional gear with instructor guidance, caught fish can be cooked by the ship's kitchen
Day5: Return to Sanya → Enjoy sunrise views over the South China Sea
⚠️ Practical Tips:
1. Currently only accessible through designated cruise companies, recommend booking 3 months in advance
2. Extreme UV radiation at sea! Must bring high-SPF sunscreen + sun-protective clothing
3. Most reefs are uninhabited areas, always stay with your guide
4. Limited onboard shop selection, suggest bringing snacks and motion sickness medicine
🦞 Unmissable Seafood Feast:
Try freshly caught grouper, red-spotted emperor fish sashimi, and the Xisha specialty moon snail! The ship's seafood chefs are remarkably skilled~
📸 Styling Tips:
White/bright-colored dresses photograph best! Pair with a wide-brimmed hat for both sun protection and styling. For snorkeling, long-sleeved wetsuits prevent sunburn and coral scratches.
