So, folks, we continue our gastronomic guide to Hainan! Today, we’ll tell you about a Spanish bar that became a highlight of our trip. Out of all the restaurants, Casa Dolphin left the most lasting impression.

💛 For Yura, for instance, his "steak-o-meter" hit the maximum here. The steak (169 yuan) was simply amazing: 300 grams of Australian Angus, perfectly cooked, a large and juicy piece of meat, served with crispy vegetables and a delicate sauce. Even I was impressed, and I’m rarely wowed by meat.

⬇️ I was captivated by the appetizers. The baguette with smoked salmon (39 yuan) was fresh and aromatic, while the tuna with avocado (39 yuan) was just wow. A crispy crust on the outside, tender raw center inside, all on soft slices of avocado topped with tomato salsa. The combination of flavors made me want to savor it longer.

⬇️ And the salmon (79 yuan) completely stole my heart. Tender fish, rice infused with spices, a light saffron aroma — I was ready to order another portion right away.

The wine list was a pleasant surprise. We hadn’t seen such variety in any other restaurant in Hainan. Red, white, rosé, sparkling — the selection was overwhelming. They even had the legendary Cava. We tried the cocktails, and they were also amazing: balanced, aromatic, and not overly sweet.

✨ The bar itself is small but very atmospheric. The interior transports you straight to Spain: waitresses in flamenco-style dresses, fans, castanets, guitars, tambourines decorating the space. In the evenings, there are live performances, and at the center — the Sambomba, Spanish drums. The flamenco rhythms are infectious, and you’ll find your feet tapping along.

📍 The bar is located on the first floor of the Song of Youth Mall in Sanya. We also spotted a couple of other restaurants there — a steakhouse and a Japanese place, plus a good supermarket and a Xiaomi flagship store. So, you can combine the pleasant with the practical.
