Odori Park, an urban oasis in Sapporo

Sapporo's Odori Park, a green oasis in the city, instantly caught my eye.

Located in the heart of Sapporo, Odori Park is a narrow green space that runs north and south through the city. Lined with lush trees and blooming flowers, the park offers a spacious space for leisure. Strolling along the park's paths, feeling the fresh air and warm sunshine, I felt a particularly relaxing moment.

The park boasts numerous amenities, such as fountains, sculptures, and benches, offering convenience and comfort. I also saw many residents enjoying the fun of walking, running, and cycling.

Notably, Odori Park is also the venue for the Sapporo Snow Festival. Every winter, the park transforms into a fairytale world of snow, attracting countless visitors.
