Mount Rinjani Hike Truly Difficult

I hike few mountains before, but never this difficult. 5 of us, we didn't train for it. Let's just say some of us took longer than the others climbing up. Luckily day job as a manual labourer and puts me much more physically fit to climb.

The trip on the first day starts from noon to evening where you reach the base camp for the sunset. Few hours later at 2am, you start the hike of your life in the darkness. Putting all four of your limbs to hike, water wasn't enough. That moment is physical and mental push for your life to reach the peak by sunrise.

We didn't reach by sunrise. First guy to the last guy that reach the peak was 3h apart. It's worth it to accomplish that climb. Also you have to go back down which is another 1-2h walk
