Walking through Gwanghwamun Street and Open Songhyeon

🔮 As I strolled along Gwanghwamun Street, I captured various scenes. There was the 50th Anniversary Memorial Tower of the April Democratic Revolution, the site of the Saheonbu Gate, and even booths showcasing Korean cuisine, offering a variety of attractions.

🌳 Moving past Gwanghwamun, I arrived at Open Songhyeon Park. Although one side of the park was covered due to construction for new facilities, I was greeted by an array of beautiful flowers.

Originally used as the residence for the U.S. Embassy, the site was returned to the Korean government in 1997. After much back and forth, it was transformed into Open Songhyeon Urban Park. Currently, the park is undergoing installation for the Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism exhibition, which has led to most of the park being closed off. 🍁
