We headed to Eunpyeong Hanok Village near Seoul early this morning to see the snowy scenery and hike the Bukhansan Trail. It's about a 25-30 minute Uber ride from Mapo. Since it had snowed yesterday, the temperature was very low this morning due to the melting snow. We only made it to the trail entrance before turning back to warm up with a cup of coffee each. 🤭

We arrived around 10:30 AM. Once inside, we went upstairs to find a seat and ordered and picked up our food on the first floor. Each person got a cup. There are five floors: the first floor is for ordering, the second to fourth floors are for the cafe, and the fifth floor has another restaurant. As soon as we exited the elevator on the fifth floor, we were surprised by the long queues of people waiting. I looked it up and it seemed like... Many people have recommended this place, but we only came for coffee this time and didn't eat. I'll see if I can return. The stairs lead to the top floor, where you can take in the panoramic views of Eunpyeong Hanok Village. I highly recommend it if you're visiting. We were lucky enough to even see the village after a snowfall; it was truly stunning. 🤩🥰

The cafe's menu is simple, offering coffee, non-coffee options, and desserts and cakes. Since we were going to eat at several other restaurants soon, we ended up ordering just three coffees and no cake. The coffee itself was quite good, and paired with the warm heating and the view from the window, it's no wonder so many people recommend it.

The overall service, coffee quality, and flavor were all excellent. If you're planning to visit the Hanok Village, I recommend saving some time for each of you.
