A Taiwanese meal in Buam-dong: Lanzhou Beef Noodles

I ordered guo bao rou and dried tofu salad instead of noodles at Lanzhou Beef Noodles, located in a Buam-dong alley.

The guo bao rou had a crispy, freshly fried texture, and the sweet and sour sauce complemented it perfectly, making it impossible to put down. The dried tofu salad was savory yet refreshing, naturally balancing the oiliness and making it a perfect side dish. The two dishes worked together beautifully, making for a refreshing and satisfying end to the meal.

As I slowly ate, taking in the quiet alleyways of Buam-dong through the window, it felt like a short break from my travels.

It was a delightful discovery that there were options beyond noodles.
