Wangfu Mountain @ The perfect fusion of natural mountaintop and city

If you want to get close to nature, you don't have to go too far from the city. From Tai Wai, first climb Wangfu Rock and then attack Mount Lion.

🫰Wangfu Stone🫰 has a touching story:
Legend has it that in ancient times, there was a woman whose husband went to sea to earn a living, but there was no news until the end of time. Every day she carried her son up to the top of the mountain, looking at the vast sea and waiting for reunion. Finally, after a heavy storm, the mother-in-law turned into stone together, known as the Wangfu Stone😭

In the Tang Dynasty, Liu Yu-tsin also described it in a poem:
Looking at my husband's place, the river is leisurely. Turn into stone and never look back.
The top of the hill is windy and rainy every day. Pedestrians return to the stone to respond.

🌳Transportation mode🚌
(1) Exit C of Tai Wai MTR Station, turn left and take the lift to the footbridge, go down the slope in the direction of Tin Sin Village and Red Plum Valley Playground (about 20 minutes)
(2) Change at MTR Tai Wai Station to World Garden Station
Buses to Kowloon: 80, 81C, 85, 86C, 87A, 87B, 89B, 170, 182

- Must bring enough water and food, no supplies along the way, don't forget!
- Use enough sunscreen (hat, sunscreen, and umbrella are all indispensable)
