Pu Peng's ethnic minority identity and experiences during his growth, combined with his systematic academic education and college training, are engraved in his consciousness and ultimately manifest in his graffiti. His primitivism and surrealism are actually a choice of self-expression, which has become his unique style.

The second time I saw Pu Peng’s work, I was still attracted by his surreal, imaginative compositions and colorful images.
