🌈"Perceiving the Scene" Chinese and Japanese Contemporary Art Group Exhibition
📅2022.12.3 - 2023.1.8
🕋Polar Bear Gallery

The exhibition presents more than 40 works of art in various media such as oil paintings, acrylics, prints, sculptures, etc. created by 11 Chinese and Japanese artists at different times. Many of them have been exhibited in the gallery's previous exhibitions. This time, we will focus on those that have not been seen.

🖼Fang Jianxi
I often record the scenes in my dreams by drawing sketches, and select interesting chapters to outline a colorful parallel world through the canvas.

🟫Kurihara Fifteen
He is good at using "gold foil and ink" as painting materials. I like his "Untitled", which can be a strange beast or a wooden sculpture from different angles.

🧸Nakamura Moe
Using wood as the creative medium, most of them retain the marks and patterns when carved. The works are full of hand feel, soft tones and childlike, and have a unique style.

🐲 Pu Peng
The themes and images in his paintings are often taken from mythical beasts and spirits in Chinese mythology and legends, trying to view the world from their perspectives, providing a different observation and understanding of the world from human perspectives.
