| An ancient town located in the suburbs of Shanghai. Qingxi Ancient Town was formed in the Yuan Dynasty, invented in the Ming Dynasty, flourished in the Qing Dynasty, and prospered in the Republic of China, with a history of more than 1400 years. The old street of Qingxi is 1.3 kilometers long, running through East Street, Middle Street, and West Street, and the bluestone road shows the historical vicissitudes of the old street. The ancient town still retains 6 ancient bridges from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, including Zhonghe Bridge, Guangji Bridge, Sanzhu Bridge, Yongshou Bridge, Nanhong Bridge and Jifang Bridge. You can also take a boat to tour the entire ancient town.
