The Henderson CIFI Landmark The Roof, designed by Pritzker Architecture Prize winner and French architect Jean Nouvel, is located in the Xintiandi business district in the central city area of Shanghai.
The design concept of the Henderson CIFI Landmark project is to continue the cultural foundation of Xintiandi, incorporating elements of light and nature, using the collision techniques of red and green, inside and outside, new and old, the inner street uses bold Danxia red, creating a huge collection-level art building, the panorama uses a canopy roof, making sunbathing during the day and stargazing at night a unique landscape, providing shelter for the street, introducing natural light, making the space more transparent and unique.
About 2,500 flower pots of vertical greening, constitute a rare green plant facade in Shanghai. With the change of the four seasons, the color of the building facade will also change.
Two years ago when it just opened for business, it was a hot spot for internet celebrities, now it has become quieter, and there won't be a 'crowd of people' for taking pictures. 😄😄
