I wandered into People’s Park from the Middle Xizang Road entrance. It was a bustling social hub, almost like an offline dating platform run entirely by family elders😂 The area was packed with elders holding or posting “resumes” for their sons and daughters. These one-pagers had all the key info—age, height, education, job, income, even whether they owned a house. Some of them even listed very specific requirements for the ideal partner.

🍀After passing through the matchmaking corner, I found other areas where locals were playing chess, chatting, or just chilling with family and friends. It was much more relaxed and peaceful.
