St. Regis Shanghai Jingan Hotel, Caroline Astor Suite Unboxing

The St. Regis Shanghai Jingan Hotel features 491 exquisite and stylish rooms, six specialty restaurants and bars, the iconic St. Regis spa and fitness center, all located in the heart of Jingan District, the local cultural and business hub.

The hotel’s interior decoration is elegant and refined, skillfully blending traditional British charm with Chinese grandeur. Chinese art and cultural works such as calligraphy and handcrafted gold leaf paintings add the perfect finishing touch.

In the hotel’s public spaces stand five glass sculptures created by world-renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly, delivering a stunning visual impact.

This time, I booked through FHR, with a room rate of $228 USD including a $100 dining credit (booking sites usually charge about ¥1500-¥1800).

The suite is about 71 square meters, with a spacious living room.
The bedroom has a king-size bed, with a slightly narrow sense of space,
but the bathroom is very spacious, and the walk-in closet space is decent.

The four St. Regis traditions, also known as the "St. Regis Rituals," include: St. Regis butler service, the Bloody Mary cocktail, afternoon tea, and the St. Regis family heritage and history (sabre champagne opening).

So the best part about staying at St. Regis is having a butler ready to serve tea and coffee anytime 🥳

On Saturday and Sunday evenings at 6 PM, there is a sabre champagne opening at the entrance of the Social restaurant!
