Shanghai Museum

#chinatravel
Shanghai Museum is often considered one of China’s best museums—and I completely agree. Located in People’s Square, its unique round-top design (like an ancient bronze ding) reflects its mission: to preserve China’s cultural essence. Inside, the museum is beautifully organized with galleries on ceramics, jade, calligraphy, ancient coins, and traditional furniture. I loved the painting gallery—it felt like walking through an ancient scroll. The museum is free, clean, and very well-curated. Whether you're a history nerd or just curious, it’s easy to spend hours here without realizing it. Bonus: there’s great shopping and green space just outside.
