Finally, I set foot on this land closest to heaven—Shangri-La! This journey was a dual baptism of faith and nature, with every frame as beautiful as a dream~📿
🏔️First Stop: Songzanlin Monastery · Stunning Tibetan Attire Photoshoot
At the "Little Potala Palace" Songzanlin Monastery, I donned a traditional Tibetan robe! With golden rooftops and red walls as the backdrop, and prayer flags fluttering in the wind, I instantly transformed into a child of the plateau. The layered staircases of the monastery and the prayer corridors are perfect photo spots, capturing ritualistic Tibetan-style portraits! 📸 (Tibetan attire rentals can be booked in the old town or near the monastery~)
🛕Second Stop: Dukezong Ancient Town · Spinning the World's Largest Prayer Wheel
Arriving at the Moonlight City Dukezong in the evening, I joined others to spin the massive 21-meter-tall prayer wheel! Each turn seemed to echo with blessings. Under the night sky, the golden glow of the prayer wheel complemented the starry ancient town, creating a sacred and healing atmosphere 🌌
🌄Third Stop: Balagezong · Hidden Canyon Paradise
Known as the most breathtaking canyon in Yunnan! A winding mountain road leads straight to the snow-capped peaks, with a glass walkway overlooking emerald rivers. I also explored a mysterious ancient village site. This place is hailed as "the last paradise on earth," and it truly lives up to its name~🚡
💦Fourth Stop: Tiger Leaping Gorge · Roaring Rapids of the Nujiang River
The Jinsha River tears through the canyon like a giant dragon, with waves crashing against the cliffs in a deafening roar! Hiking along the cliffside walkway, I felt the refreshing mist on my face. At that moment, I truly understood the raw power of nature!
🦢Final Stop: Napa Lake · Poetic Stroll in a Highland Wetland
In the rainy season, it's a lake; in the dry season, it's a grassland! Riding a horse around the lake, watching black-necked cranes skim across the water, and seeing the distant mountains reflected like a painting. Here, there are no boundaries; the sky and earth seem to merge into one, instantly soothing all fatigue~
✨Travel Tips:
· Bright-colored Tibetan attire is recommended for better photos against the red walls of Songzanlin Monastery
· Shangri-La has a high altitude, so take precautions against sunburn and altitude sickness
· Electric bikes are available for rent around Napa Lake, offering freedom and romance!
