3 days in Shangri-La

The purity and mystery of Shangri-La always make people yearn for it.
And this time, the guesthouse we stayed at was truly a surprise on the plateau!
Just a 3-minute walk to the giant prayer wheel,
and the guesthouse itself has a stylish design,
a double blessing for photo lovers and lazy travelers alike.
.
🏠 Super convenient location and transportation
The hotel is right next to Dukezong Ancient Town,
just a few minutes' walk to the core area of the ancient town,
making it super convenient for shopping, eating, and sightseeing.
Friends driving themselves don’t have to worry about parking at all,
the guesthouse has a free parking lot, definitely a plus!
Right at the door is Shambhala Avenue,
making it easy to take a taxi or charter a car to Songzanlin Monastery or Napa Lake.
.
💁 Service so thoughtful it brings tears
The butler service here is truly amazing,
from check-in you feel the meticulous care,
actively helping with luggage, providing pick-up and drop-off services,
reminding you of plateau precautions,
and even planning your travel routes and recommending local food based on your needs!
There are welcome fruits at check-in,
breakfast in the morning, and goodnight sweet soup in the evening,
truly a healing remedy for plateau fatigue.
.
🌬️ Plateau lifesaver facilities
The biggest fear at high altitude is altitude sickness,
but the rooms here are equipped with oxygen machines and humidifiers,
so you don’t have to worry about sleeping poorly at all.
We had mild altitude sickness on the first day,
but after some oxygen, we recovered quickly.
This setup really saved the whole trip!
From location to service details,
this guesthouse does everything perfectly,
completely changing my perception of plateau accommodations.
Next time I come to Shangri-La, I will definitely choose here again!
