🎡 Heping Ancient Town was built in the Tang Dynasty and has a history of more than 1,700 years. The ancient town retains a complete 600-meter-long ancient long street, known as the "First Street in Fujian". There is also the earliest academy in northern Fujian - Heping Academy, as well as more than 200 Ming and Qing Dynasty buildings such as the County Magistrate's Office, Huang's Mansion, stage, ancestral hall, etc., especially the east and north watchtowers, which are worth seeing.
⭕Compared to the commercialized man-made ancient towns, Heping Ancient Town is a truly living ancient town. The elderly in the village live and set up stalls here. The steamed glutinous rice cakes, fried tofu, and peace rice noodles along the street are all local delicacies, very distinctive 🍜
🏯Heping Ancient Town has not charged admission since last year. If you visit several attractions such as the County Magistrate's Office and Heping Academy, you can choose a package ticket of 50 yuan. You can choose according to your interests.
