Originally known as the Sarira Temple, Huilong Temple was first built during the Tang Dynasty. Over the centuries, it has witnessed the rise and fall of dynasties and the tides of history. In the sixth year of the Chongde era during the Qing Dynasty, the temple was reconstructed by the Ministry of Works on imperial orders, becoming a grand and bustling site of worship where people came to burn incense and pray. Sadly, during the Russo-Japanese War in the 30th year of the Guangxu era, the temple was destroyed. Fortunately, reconstruction began in 2008, breathing new life into this ancient sanctuary.

Entering Huilong Temple, you'll see its soaring eaves and brackets, as if reaching for the sky to converse with the heavens. The vermilion pillars stand sturdy and solemn, bearing the weight of time. The architecture predominantly follows Tang Dynasty style—majestic yet elegantly simple, with every detail showcasing the ingenuity of ancient craftsmen. Strolling through, you'll encounter blue-tiled roofs, golden-yellow walls, and intricately carved beams. Every corner offers a perfect backdrop for stunning vintage-style photos.

One unmissable highlight within the temple is the Sarira Pagoda. Built during the Liao Dynasty, this Immaculate Pure Light Sarira Pagoda has stood tall for a thousand years, weathering storms and time. Each brick and stone on the pagoda whispers tales of the past, complementing Huilong Temple to form a unique historical tableau. When the setting sun casts its glow on the pagoda, the breathtaking "Sunset Over Pagoda Bay" scene unfolds—every snapshot taken here exudes cinematic grandeur.

Visit in spring, and you'll find the temple adorned with blooming peach blossoms, their delicate pink petals weaving a romantic, poetic tapestry with the ancient structures.
