Nantou Ancient City with a history of more than 1,700 years

Nantou Ancient Town is one of Shenzhen's tourist landmarks. It is open to the public free of charge all year round and has witnessed the changes from ancient times to the present. It has now developed into a great place for special shopping and cultural experiences. It can be reached in a few minutes from the exit of Zhongshan Park Station. It happened to be the Lunar New Year during our visit, so the place was filled with New Year decorations, and it was very crowded and lively. In addition to many exhibition sites preserved in the city, such as the Guandi Temple, opium dens, the Coastal Defense Office, etc., there are also many specialty shops and restaurants. Walking around and looking around is enough to while away most of the day.
