Kurofune-ya is a restaurant you should visit when you come to Izu Shimoda, Shizuoka Prefecture, which is famous for seafood. 🍚

I ordered the restaurant's specialty, a large turban shell tempura bowl, and salt-grilled yellowtail head. 🐟

The crispy, freshly fried tempura was voluminous and very delicious. ☺️ The yellowtail head was also fatty and delicious.

The menu depends on the day's stock, but they have a wide selection of fresh fish, so please stop by if you visit Shimoda. 🕰️Business hours: 11:30-14:00, 17:00-21:00
