Half-Day Tour of Mojiko and Shimonoseki

If you're visiting Fukuoka, I highly recommend heading to Mojiko to enjoy its famous baked curry and unique port views. Mojiko is also the northernmost train station in Kyushu, Japan!

Additionally, you can take a ferry to Shimonoseki's Karato Market to savor fresh seafood. After your meal, take a leisurely stroll to the nearby famous attraction, Akama Shrine!

🕰️ Hours: It's best to visit Karato Market before noon as many stalls close early. Akama Shrine is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

🚂 Transportation: Take the JR train to Mojiko Station. To reach Shimonoseki, you can take a ferry.

💰 Cost: The ferry ride costs about 400 yen one way. Alternatively, you can walk through the Kanmon Undersea Tunnel, which takes about 20 minutes and is free.
