The Japanese fairytale town - Shirakawa-go Gassho Village

Shirakawa-go Gassho Village is famous for its winter lights, but it actually looks different in each season. When it gets cooler in early October, the thatched houses and golden fields can create a fairy-tale-like scene. Gassho Village is actually not small. If you add up the time for walking around, taking photos, eating and shopping, four hours would still be a bit tight. If you have a trip from Kanazawa to Takayama, or from Toyama to Takayama, it is recommended to arrange Gassho Village as a relay attraction to add more color to the journey!
