Shirakawa-go in the Hida region of Gifu Prefecture, also famous as a World Heritage Site, is a rare spot where you can enjoy the scenery that can be said to be the original landscape of Japanese rural areas, with houses in the traditional "Gassho-style" architecture still remaining to this day! 🤩
When I actually went inside, I was able to feel the sturdiness of the Gassho-style houses, as some people were living in them! ☺️
You can also visit the old townscape of Takayama near Shirakawa-go, so please be sure to visit! 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️
