When it comes to must-see attractions in Nagoya, Shirakawa-go is definitely one of them! In winter, Shirakawa-go looks like a scene from a movie. From the observation deck, you can see the snow-covered Gassho-style houses, which look like little toy houses (*^^*). The design of the Gassho-style houses resembles the shape of a 'human' character. It is said that this area receives a lot of snow, and the roof design is meant to prevent too much snow from accumulating.
