The vast white Shirakawa-go

Shirakawa-go is the most anticipated stop on this trip to Japan. In mid-January in Japan, the temperature hovered between 5-12 degrees. Before visiting Shirakawa-go, I was still worried about whether I could see the snow and whether it would snow❄️

On the way from Kanazawa to Shirakawa-go by bus, the bus went from the Shishi area to the mountains. After passing through the tunnel, we saw the famous Gassho Village in Shirakawa-go. Thick snow covered the roofs. Looking at such a beautiful scenery was really exciting.

The next morning, it finally snowed! ❄️❄️❄️
It was the first time I saw snow. I often hear people say that you don’t actually feel cold when it snows, and it turns out to be true. Even without an umbrella, or even making your signature angel pose on the snow, you won’t feel cold.

Looking at the snowflakes falling in my hands, I feel indescribably moved😌

If you have the chance, you must come again.
