Introducing recommended sightseeing spots in Shizuoka in 2023!

I went to Shizuoka Prefecture in August 2023!
I will introduce some recommended spots there.

First up is Toro Ruins.
It is relatively close and easy to access, just under 10 minutes by bus from Shizuoka Station.
The Shizuoka City Toro Museum, located on the same premises, has many materials and tools that show the lives of people at that time, so you should also go there.

The next recommended spot is Sunpu Castle Park.
It takes just under 30 minutes on foot from Shizuoka Station.
I recommend going by taxi or bus.
In Sunpu Castle Park, there is a very large statue of Tokugawa Ieyasu.
It takes just under an hour to walk around the park, so it is better to go on the first day when you have enough energy.

The last recommended spot is Kunozan Toshogu Shrine.
It is about 20 minutes by taxi from Shizuoka Station.
It is a spot that you should definitely visit when you come to Shizuoka.
All of the stairs in Toshogu Shrine have quite a few steps, so I recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothes.
You'll feel a sense of accomplishment when you reach the top and see the Tokugawa graves.

Be sure to visit the charming city of Shizuoka.
