Miho no Matsubara @ Shizuoka

We have a deep love for Mount Fuji, especially because it holds a special place in our hearts. Our first trip to Japan included a memorable moment of seeing Mount Fuji from the Kawaguchiko lakeside with someone we love.

This time, we decided to visit Mount Fuji from another perspective. It’s said that this side isn’t as symmetrical as the Kawaguchiko side and reveals a rugged right edge.

Miho no Matsubara offers a stunning view of Mount Fuji from the coastline. The scenery is breathtaking, from the pathway leading to the shore to the coastline itself. We found ourselves falling in love with Mount Fuji from this side even more. The area is quieter, allowing us to soak in the serene and impressive atmosphere without the disturbance of large crowds.
