Kankakei Observatory Cable Car
runs every hour, 12 minutes, 24 minutes, 36 minutes, and 48 minutes.
You can buy a cable car ticket through the machine.
It costs 2,340 yen for a round trip.

The view from the observatory is really great.
You can see the islands in the distance, and if you're lucky, you can even see Takamatsu.

You should definitely plan a visit to the Kankakei Observatory for your Shodoshima free travel course.

There is a market near the top where you can buy simple snacks,
souvenirs, and even eat,
but since it's on top of a mountain, the taste isn't that great,
so I recommend looking for somewhere else to eat.
