The only inconvenience is that there are only 2-3 trips a day for both the outbound and return trips. As I was on the weekend schedule, I took the bus departing Takamatsu at 6:00 and arriving at Shodoshima Sakate Port at 7:15. 🚢 Takamatsu - Shodoshima Sakate Port weekend schedule

I wanted to enjoy the whole day, so I took the 22:40 bus.

There are other ferry companies too.

Shodoshima Ferry has about 15 trips a day, so it might be a good idea to look around and see what works best for your schedule and budget.
