Siem Reap in August: Green, Calm, and Full of Life

I visited Siem Reap this August and it was amazing. The green season made everything fresh and peaceful, with fewer tourists around.

The best moments were watching sunrise at Angkor Wat, exploring Bayon and Ta Prohm, and cooling off at Kulen Mountain waterfalls. A boat ride at Tonlé Sap Lake was also perfect since the water was high and the floating villages were full of life.

In the evenings, I enjoyed walking through the night market, tasting local food, and ending the day with the Phare Circus show.

If you visit Siem Reap in August, expect some rain, but it only makes the temples and nature more beautiful.
