The kampong glam community center is one that brings me back to my childhood days. In the Singapore context, the community center is a place where you enrich yourself by attending courses. There are also recreational activities that you can enroll in. To keep fit and healthy, you can join their gym as well as book their facilities such as their badminton place to play with your friends and family. I remembered when I was younger, my parents sent me to enroll in arts and craft classes. Each week I will bring the artifacts back home to show my parents. They include using the clay to turn it into our favourite animal and putting in the eyes for the animals. Those were my happy childhood days there.
