Kampong Glam is a large neighbourhood district located on Arab Street, known for its beautiful 19th century shophouses that have been transformed into consumer goods stores and restaurants! Especially the route leading up to the iconic Sultan Mosque is flanked by rows of shops selling a variety of textiles and delicious Arab fare.

One interesting feature of many of the shophouses is how low-lying the ceilings are. It really creates that cosy intimate vibe that goes well with the exotic culture you can experience here. Perfect backdrop for photo opportunities!
