Golden Domes & Chill Streets

#summervacay Exploring the area around Masjid Sultan in Central Singapore is a whole viibe. The mosque itself is stunning, that golden dome? Kinda impossible to miss. It just glows in the middle of Kampong Glam, and the mix of culture, history, and trendy cafés is honestly so cool.

We wandered through Haji Lane first (hello, street art and cute little shops), grabbed a minty iced tea, then made our way toward the mosque. The streets here are super walkable, filled with colorful shophouses, Middle Eastern restaurants, and indie boutiques. It’s laid-back but still buzzing with energy.

There’s something super peaceful about just sitting in the plaza near the mosque, listening to the call to prayer, and watching people go by. It feels like modern city meets old soul.

If you're in Singapore, this area is 100% worth the stroll. Chill vibes, cool photos, good food, what more do you need? Masjid Sultan isn’t just a landmark, it’s a whole experience.
