Little India is a Tamil ethnic community in Singapore and one of the three major historical districts in Singapore.

Coming out of Little India MRT station (DT12/NE7), along Serangoon Road, the main thoroughfare of the neighbourhood, you will soon find one of the landmarks here, the Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple. The main deity worshipped in the temple is Goddess Kali, the wife of Lord Shiva, who is in charge of life and death and symbolizes strength and courage.

There are actually many attractions in the Little India area, but it is recommended to stroll around and explore your own Little India trip. You will find that everywhere here is colorful and full of vitality.
