Introducing classic spots and recommended shops to visit on your trip to Singapore! Since I visited from Malaysia on a day trip, all the places introduced here are ones I actually visited in one day!
📍Merlion
The iconic Merlion. It’s often called a disappointing spot, but the view from here is truly Singapore, and I was moved! Definitely give it a visit‼️
My recommended pose is to open your mouth as if catching the fountain spouting from the Merlion’s mouth 🤣
📍YinJi Singapore
For lunch, I went here. I had noodles with fish!
There are many affordable restaurants around here. Singapore has a reputation for being expensive, but you can find cheap and delicious food!!!! The atmosphere is welcoming even for solo diners, and it’s clean and highly recommended.
📍Hellu Coffee
I stopped by for coffee after lunch. This place is famous for its latte topped with fluffy cream! Since I’m not a fan of cream, I enjoyed an iced coffee, which was very tasty! It was crowded because it’s popular, but it’s a cute and recommended café ☕️
📍Arcade Funan
An apparel brand. I came to buy clothes! Singaporean clothes are super cute!!!!!! And affordable! I tried on a lot and spent about an hour there 🤣 Both my friend and I made purchases 😂 Recommended for those who like casual clothes.
📍Cloud Forest
An indoor garden next to Gardens by the Bay. It’s paid admission, but there are many plants you rarely see in Japan, and the way they’re displayed is interesting, making it worth a visit! I took about two hours to explore slowly. It’s also perfect for photo spots.
📍Gardens by the Bay
A must-visit spot in Singapore. It’s a luxury to enter the beautiful gardens for free... perfect for a stroll. Try visiting twice, once during the day and once at night. At night, there’s a show at a set time, so it’s recommended to check the schedule before you go! You can watch a light show with music (free of charge!)
📍Marina Bay Sands
Even if you don’t stay here, you can get a taste of the atmosphere by entering the shopping mall! I had tea at TWG. It’s pricey, but you can feel the Singapore vibe, and it was a luxurious, dreamy, and wonderful time.
📍Raffles Hotel
I only saw the exterior and visited the souvenir shop without staying. Their tea is famous. A chic and beautiful hotel. I want to stay here someday❣️
Singapore is a compact city, so if you stay in the central area, you can tightly cover a lot in one day! I hope this helps if you have a transit or a short stay☺️
