Review of my first trip to Singapore – a small country with big impressions!
Helloooo everyone~ Today I’m going to share a super casual trip to Singapore like traveling with friends and telling you all about it. Feeling excited because it’s my first time traveling abroad alone!
It all started when I found an amazing promo ticket, cheaper than any website, round trip for less than 5,000 baht! Split with friends, it was just a few thousand each. I booked it right away, no waiting. So excited that I started counting down every day.
Day 1: Arriving at Changi Airport was like, wowwwww!!
It’s not just an ordinary airport; it’s like a combination of a nature park + luxury mall + landmark all in one. Loved The Jewel so much. The indoor waterfall is something you can watch for hours. Taking photos made me feel instantly classy, haha.
I bought an EZ-Link card and took the MRT into the city. The train system here is amazing, no getting lost, super clean, and the people are so kind and helpful even if my English was a bit confusing.
Day 2: Landmark adventure! Started at Merlion Park, took photos with the iconic Merlion spouting water as expected, then walked to Marina Bay Sands.
Seeing the building, I thought, “One day, I’ll stay here for sure!”
Then went to Gardens by the Bay, so beautiful it felt like stepping into a fairy tale. Cloud Forest has a tall waterfall, feels like being in Jurassic World. Flower Dome has spectacular blooming flowers, took endless photos.
Day 3: Went to Universal Studios! I have to say, my voice was hoarse
and I lost it from screaming so much! The Battlestar Galactica roller coaster
is the ultimate spinning thrill. My legs were weak but my heart was happy. The Shrek zone
was adorable, like stepping into a fairy tale world. Ended with a giant turkey leg that needed two hands to hold, delicious beyond words.
Last day: Shopping at Bugis Street – a paradise for souvenir lovers.
They have everything from keychains to affordable clothes. Walked until I lost track of time.
Had to rush back to the hotel to pack, then took a taxi to the airport looking a bit frazzled,
but still stopped to buy one more cup of bubble tea because #yougottahaveit before heading back to Thailand with a bag that got bigger than before.
In summary: Singapore may be small, but it’s full of charm.
Cleanliness, orderliness, and stunning views.
Perfect for first-time international travelers. Easy to get around, convenient sightseeing, diverse food, and super friendly people.
Highly recommend for anyone wanting to start traveling abroad in a cute and safe way.
If you’re hesitating, hurry and book your ticket to go collect experiences.
I’ll tell you, “Good memories don’t need fancy words,
just courage to step out… and that’s enough!”
