The original Singapore Bak Kut Teh
Is this the place?
🍲 If you come to Singapore and want to eat delicious authentic Bak Kut Teh, we recommend this branch of Song Fa Bak Kut Teh! 11 New Bridge Road (opposite Clarke Quay)
The peppery soup is fragrant and rich, the pork ribs are tender and fall off the bone, eating with hot steamed rice is just amazing 🍚💨 Free soup refills, staff keep refilling it for you. If you like fragrant peppery soup that's easy to drink, you have to try it! For us, the flavor is mild, leaning a bit bland but still delicious 😋
‼️ The menu is in English, easy to order, prices are moderate—not cheap but worth every bite. Important: cash only!!
⏰ Recommended time to visit: weekday mornings like we did, very few people, there’s a queue before the restaurant opens but the wait is short.
🚇 How to get there: MRT Clarke Quay Station Exit A, just a short walk across the street.
