Singapore is full of incredibly delicious gourmet food!
We feature shops you absolutely must try⭐️
① Yakun Kaya Toast (1st and 2nd photos) 🥚
This is a famous kaya toast shop. Kaya toast is a Singaporean dish where toast filled with plenty of kaya jam is eaten with a soft-boiled egg 🥚. You might wonder, "Does it really go together?" but it’s exquisite!!
② Song Fa Bak Kut Teh (3rd and 4th photos) 🐷
A popular local food shop for bak kut teh in Singapore. It’s a dish of pork ribs simmered with Chinese herbs, garlic, soy sauce, and more, creating an addictive flavor. It’s delicious when eaten with fried dough sticks.
③ Tiong Bahru Bakery (5th and 6th photos) 🥐
When it comes to famous shops with delicious croissants, Tiong Bahru Bakery is the one. They bake handmade croissants every two hours with great care.
④ The Coconuts Club (7th, 8th, and 9th photos) 🏝️
A shop famous for nasi lemak, born in the Malay Peninsula. The Southeast Asian-style interior with a great atmosphere is also wonderful. The coconut shake is also exquisite.
⑤ Hokkien Mee (10th and 11th photos) 🍤
One of Singapore’s representative noodle dishes. It’s a stir-fried noodle dish using rice noodles and egg noodles, originating from Fujian cuisine. It’s inexpensive but packed with seafood.
⑥ Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice (12th and 13th photos) 🐔
A Singapore chicken rice shop. It’s just so, so delicious! I ate it three times during this trip. (lol)
⑦ Jumbo Seafood (14th and 15th photos) 🦀
A chili crab restaurant. The rich crab flavor combined with the thick sauce is exquisite. Definitely try it when you come to Singapore.
