Review of Singapore Botanic Gardens

๐Ÿ“ Review of Singapore Botanic Gardens

If you're looking to escape the bustling city of Singapore for a while, the Botanic Gardens is the perfect spot ๐ŸŒณ. Conveniently connected to the MRT Botanic Gardens station, it's easy to access. As soon as you pass through the entrance, you're greeted by lush trees and well-maintained paths, giving off a "park in the city" vibe.

The garden is vast and divided into different themes, with the National Orchid Garden being a must-visit ๐ŸŒธ. The vibrant orchids displayed in a terraced layout make for great photo opportunities and an enjoyable viewing experience. By the lake, there's an outdoor performance stage that enhances the scenery, and the shaded trails with ancient trees give you the feeling of being in a forest.

The downside is Singapore's characteristic hot and humid weather, which makes walking around during midday quite challenging, and the garden's size means you'll need plenty of time to explore it all ๐Ÿ˜…. I recommend selecting key areas to visit and taking a leisurely stroll. While I wished there were more benches or resting spots, overall, it was a great place to relax and connect with nature. If you're looking to take a break from a shopping-heavy itinerary, it's definitely worth spending half a day here.
