💙 This is Abai Village, famous for its squid sundae in Sokcho, Gangwon-do! The ships anchored in the sea and the energetic liveliness of the market were intense. Abai Village is close to Sokcho Central Market, and the squid sundae sold there was superb. Manseok Dakgangjeong is also famous, so I hope you visit! The name of Abai Village comes from the Hamgyeong-do dialect. It is said that refugees formed a group village near the sea during the Korean War. It is said that Abai, which means old in the Hamgyeong-do dialect, was added to the village name because many of the people who lived here were elderly!
