Wat Sri Chum (Phra Achana), the talking monk, Sukhothai Province

Wat Sri Chum (Phra Achana), Sukhothai Province Wat Sri Chum is located outside the city walls to the north of Sukhothai Historical Park, Tambon Muang Kao, Amphoe Mueang Sukhothai, Sukhothai Province. This temple enshrines a large Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya attitude, named "Phra Achana". It is rumored that this Buddha can speak. The Buddha statue is enshrined in a pavilion, which has now completely collapsed, leaving only the surrounding walls, making it an outdoor Buddha statue to this day.
This temple is where the second stone inscription, or the Wat Sri Chum stone inscription, was found. Wat Sri Chum is considered another temple of historical significance.
