Crowne Plaza Suzhou Taihu Lake Check-in Experience

🏨Hotel Lobby:
The lobby isn't particularly large, but it has high ceilings and an exquisite design. Many design elements are related to Suzhou, such as the frequent use of Suzhou lattice window patterns and a Taihu stone sculpture at the entrance.
The lobby also has a tea break corner with fruit, hot tea, coffee, and other amenities. It's quite well-equipped.
🛏Suite:
The suite is very spacious, divided into living and bedroom areas. There's a bathroom near the entrance, so two people checking in together don't have to worry about fighting over the bathroom 😂.
The room has high ceilings and a modern design. The desk in the living room has a bold color scheme, perhaps echoing the blue-green theme of the lobby.
The room has large floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides. The white curtains and sheers can be controlled electronically, which is very convenient. I didn't notice it at night when I checked in, but during the day, I found that the right side of the room actually has a view of East Taihu Lake.
Although the bathroom has two sinks, only one has a mirror 🪞. Both of us prefer 🥰 using the sink with a mirror.
The minibar in the suite is free 🆓 to use. If you're unsure, you can call the front desk to confirm.
🥖Breakfast:
This Crowne Plaza really puts effort into its food. Of all the hotels I've stayed in, this one has the most abundant breakfast. There are four sections: hot dishes, cold dishes, pastries and bread, and drinks.
Each section has a wide variety of items. I even saw staff making sushi on the spot. After making a round of all the sections, I unknowingly picked up a lot of food. I tried the freshly cooked braised pork noodles. The soup base was delicious, and the noodles coated in the soup were very tasty 😋.
On Sunday morning, there were quite a few guests, and when we went to the restaurant around 9:00, we had to queue. Fortunately, the wait wasn't too long.
🤵🏻Service:
The service is truly excellent. The hotel seems to have plenty of staff, and throughout our stay, we found them to be very enthusiastic. When we were carrying our luggage, they would proactively ask if we were checking in.
Also, when passing through the lobby, we often saw staff mopping the floor. They seem very dedicated 🥹.
When we were dining in the executive lounge, the staff would promptly ask if we needed our plates cleared. The overall service experience was excellent.
