Pingjiang Road is an absolute must-visit if you're in Suzhou. Walking along the narrow, stone-paved street, with the tranquil canal on one side and traditional white-walled, black-tiled houses on the other, feels like stepping back in time. It's a place where you can truly immerse yourself in the ancient water town atmosphere. The street is long, taking about an hour to walk from end to end, and is filled with small shops, teahouses, and restaurants. The overall vibe is peaceful and a great escape from the busier parts of the city. Taking a black-awning boat ride on the canal is highly recommended for a different perspective of this beautiful area.
