At the Jingzijiao Tile-Paved Salt Fields, the setting sun casts a shimmering light across the salt pans, creating a crystalline carpet spread across the earth. These are Taiwan's oldest tile-paved salt pans, their grid-like salt ponds neatly arranged, reflecting the light of the sky and the shadows of the clouds, creating a poetic and majestic scene. Watching the salt workers carefully push the crystals with wooden rakes, time seems to slow down.
I sat on the embankment, watching the sunset gradually disappear, painting the sky a golden red. At that moment, it felt as if only the salt pans and I were left in the world, and my heart was purified by the tranquility.
